What is a CSA?

CSA stands for community supported agriculture.  It is a sales model where customers by a weekly farm share in advance for a designated time period.  For example our regular salad share is $150 for 10 weeks.  Each week you get a share of lettuce, veggies, and micro greens, for ten weeks.

The purpose of such a model is to allow farmers to better plan a planting schedule based on demand and a more consistent revenue stream.

In return, CSA customers get first priority on quality and variety,  as well as a discount  compared to buying items individually.

What is included?:

This year we are doing a salad CSA.  Your weekly share will include a 64oz fully compostable corn based plastic container of mixed salad lettuce, 2 different 16oz containers of varying micro greens, and 2 salad friendly veggies.  Enough to make 4 big salads.

How much ?

It is $150 per share and gets you 10 weeks  for pick up at the farm in Clayton on Tuesdays from 4pm to 7 pm,  or the Clayton farmers market Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. 

We also offer a doorstep delivery option for Raleigh and Clayton areas at $200 per share.  Subject to location approval.
